Today was a lot of "beautifying" my base in Minecraft. Mostly working on putting a roof on it. It's being made out of dark oak logs and red nether brick steps, wanted something that would contrast a bit with the pink. I could certainly do a better job with it but it looks fine, though it isn't finished. I need a lot more nether wart. There's also a cave under my base that's been bothering me, mostly because mobs sometimes spawn there and make noise. I dug under to it and put down some lights but I think there's another cave somewhere else that has mobs spawning, idk.
