For some reason I've gone back to Minecraft. I've tried to play it in the past a few times but it never really clicked, I'd just get lost trying to find my house and never found anything interesting. This time though I just happened to spawn next to a fucking interesting landmark (a broken portal) so that just fixes both of those issues. Putting my base at the top of a hill probably wasn't a great idea but I'm slowly building out a farm and flatening terrain. Haven't done much mining though, just haven't had a good opportunity to go into a cave and look for stuff. Did get some iron just looting a village though.
