I wound up running off and balancing party levels in DQ9 now, so now everyone is at roughly the same level for a bit. My MC is a level ahead but it should even out eventually, plus they're gonna be a Paladin soon anyway. Didn't make a ton of story progress today because of it but that's fine. Fucking cold here today, the upstairs heat isn't working (again). I feel like it breaks every year. Also in a third unrelated topic that feels more random to bring up, I applied to take some time off from work today around Christmas and haven't heard back yet. The employee handbook says you're supposed to ask three weeks in advance but I don't think they really care that much. And like, the worst that happens is I get told no, and I doubt that.
