A good chunk of today was spent just with my Fabula Ultima group. Session 0 went really well, the shared world building process and the focus placed on the group instead of just individuals is honestly really engaging. I honestly zone out for 90% of D&D sessions I'm in so having something that actually encourages participation is nice.

I also spent a lot of today playing Dark Souls 1. I started a new playthrough for some reason, but that turned out to be a good idea because I got stupid fucking lucky. I got the Black Knight Sword, Black Knight Halberd, and as a cherry on top I got the Fang Boar Helm too. All of these items are 20% drops from enemies that don't respawn outside of certain endgame locations, and the two weapons are some of the best in the game (the halberd especially). I also used an item dupe glitch to get a ton of souls because fuck it, I'e played through the early parts of this gmae enough already and honestly I feel like DS1 hasn't aged super great. Combat just feels really jank, the later games feel way better. I've kept forgetting to mention this but I actually ordered a copy of the original Demon's Souls. It's only $30 and fuck Bluepoint Games. That's getting here tomorrow. I'll probably play it though I might just keep going with DS1.
