Man I'm kinda surprised that straight Baccardi is like, actually good. I've only ever had it in mixed drinks.

Anyway, while some private things did happen for the most part this was really just another day for me. I did spend some time to actually apply to some jobs, this time on a job search aggregator my mom recommended; it took some time to find some actual entry level positions, but I wound up applying to like 8 jobs by the end. Some of them asked me what my expectation for pay was, and I really wasn't too sure what to put down. For both of them I went with like $30/hour (~$62,000 per year; programming pays well), which seemed to be the average low end for job applications through my school's job search aggregator, but apparently the average pay for a new grad is way higher. Not that I really think it matters too much either way, tbh. They'll just pay me what they want to. And like, the job market is a bit of a mess right now for CS majors due to all the tech layoffs, so I might not be able to even get a job for a few months anyway.

I also got my first two followers today. I'm not gonna note this again in the future unless I get some crazy amount of them all at once, but it was nice to get some. One of them complimented me on my site, which. I guess it does have some personality to it, but it's also just using the layout builder sadgrl has. I do know HTML, but not to the point where I could make this site in three days! And like obviously I've changed the layout a bit to match what I want more, but yeah. Idk. One day I'll probably have my own layout, and if/when I start posting fiction here, it won't be with the same layout (I think all the purple would be a bit distracting while reading, but that might just me).

I guess as just a final thing, I had forgotten how much I hated IS2 in Arknights. I tried one of the deep investigations I still had left in it to get some resources, and it ultimately just convinced me to never touch the mode again. A lot of it just feels like bullshit, and I'm really glad that they fixed basically all of my issues with it for IS3.
