Most of today was spent just distracting myself from the one thing that I actually need to fucking do. First with some Slay the Spire 2, then with a Super Metroid map rando. The first rando I did was sort of a mess, the start was literally going down the post-croc shaft (which you can only get back up with wall jumps or space jump), getting a bunch of items down there, and then going back up, going through the back end of gauntlet, getting past the pirate at the top of WRITG and then getting ice beam and power bombs. The randomizer actually has a map function so you can see the route I had to go through here. Plasma was also extremely annoying because it was in one of three random dead ends. Also this seed has a 4 minute escape time which is insane. And looking at my escape path now, why the fuck did I go around through the purple shaft and then into the ice tutorial room?

Anyway, tomorrow I have to tell my parents about the appointment. I'm not looking forwards to it.
