Happy Thanksgiving. I have successfully not given myself a panic attack for insanely stupid reasons this year. Today was honestly just a normal day besides dinner. I was really tired for most of it though. I think I was up until 1 last night for some reason? Idk. I played more Balatro and more Opus Magnum too today. Opus Magnum kind of clicked for me when I was just thinking about it today, though I'm only most of the way through act 1 right now. I'm also kind of making it harder for myself by trying to be as space efficient as possible, though I'm also hitting the average cost/cycles/space ratings for each stage. If you don't know the game, you fuse together atoms to make molecules using alchemic machinery (lever arms for moving stuff, and fusers and transmutation glyphs for making molecules/changing atoms), and at the end of each stage you're rated on the total cost of the machinery used, how many cycles it takes to make the output 6 times, and how much space it takes up. There's no target you have to reach, and there's no limit to the playing area or how much machinery you can use (until the post-story content), but I think most people are gonna try to optimize at least one of those conditions even just playing casually. And while there's no limit on the machinery, you do have a fixed number of inputs/outputs you can put down, and they all have to be put down too (even if you don't use one for some reason).
